Series 3 and 4 of record group 70-44 consist of two sets of records of the Michigan Dept. of Conservation, Game Division. The first set of records are reports (1959) of inspections of deer yards; damages; repellents; feeding projects; hunting; mortality by starvation, highway kill, and diseases; and minutes of the Great Lakes Deer Council for 1959. The second set of records are budget requests (1957/58-1958/59), carbon and mearprint copies of forms prepared in agency for the Department of Administration, Budget Division. They relate to allotments from general fund and the Game and Fish Protection Fund.
